ESJHM Recognized for 125 Years of Community Commitment

At the Distinguished Donors reception on Oct. 19, partner E. Stewart Jones, Jr. received a proclamation in acknowledgment of 125 years of dedicated service to the community from Russell Sage College. Throughout its history, the firm has secured numerous landmark victories, including a record-breaking verdict in the 1930s, the acquittal of prominent gangster Jack "Legs" Diamond, and the first successful medical malpractice case outside of New York City in the 1950s. Notable achievements also include a groundbreaking personal injury case against Chrysler in the 1970s and the first million-dollar verdicts in multiple counties.

To celebrate its 125th anniversary, the firm has released historical content and memorabilia. Additionally, E. Stewart Jones Hacker Murphy supports the next generation of lawyers through a partnership with Albany Law School, sponsoring a prize for the school's Senior Prize Trials.
